Making a mess of the kitchen

I'm in the kitchen of the Ohio house, up before everyone else and making a mess. As my parents awake, I quickly clean up and put the trash bag on the counter which is still messy, covering the mess up. My mom walks in and I'm trying to think of a way to get her to leave so she won't find out what a mess I'd made. I tell her I'll take out the trash, intending to pick up the mess below the bag so she won't notice.

When I come back in, I discover another woman has moved in the house and is my dad's lover. I look into the breakfast room and see her along with her twin sister and two of their kids sitting there with my dad. They all have red hair.

My mom and I go for a walk. On the way back, I notice a dirty aquarium in the ditch. Looking closer I see a variety of ornamental goldfish in it. I point out how neat it is to my mom as the fish come to the surface expecting to be fed. I wiggle my finger in the water and the fish stick seahorse-like heads out of the water.

I cross the street where there is a traffic light and walk sign, but no sidewalk. My mom doesn't want to cross because there's no sidewalk. I tell her it's OK to cross there because there's a walk sign.
